Over 40 years of continuous work and research has earned Prof. Dr. Tran Doan Son, People’s Teacher, and lecturer in Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) – VNU-HCMC, Ho Chi Minh City Invention Awards, received 9 invention patents, 13 outstanding research topics of different levels and 33 scientific articles. He has worked with students to transfer more than 450 food production and processing lines to domestic and global customers. |

Director of Sub-Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Post-Harvest Technology and is an experienced postharvest researcher. His research interests include postharvest handling of agricultural products related to processing and preservation of fruits, vegetables and cereals. He has been a key researcher in pre-processing, handling, packhouse operations, packaging and quality assurance systems projects. |
