Mr. BT, General Manager of UBM Vietnam – Organizer of ProPak Vietnam shared: “The process and packaging industry faces many challenges. Consumption is a dual edged sword – driving economics and its resultant benefits, but also contributes to environmental degradation through ‘plastics abuse’, the lack of environmental sustainability guidance and leadership, and just through the sheer amount of waste generated from food packaging. We hope to address these issues over the longer term and to nurture next generation leaders and technologist who will be entrusted to balance this complex challenge in Vietnam and beyond”.
